This is what happened last night when Ty was sent to his room to clean.
He didn't get much cleaning done but he did manage to get all snuggled up like a baby and fell asleep.
Good thing he looks so cute. I couldn't be mad.

Fun in Vegas

A few weeks ago we went to the truck race in Las Vegas.
We had so much fun spending the day together as a family.
These were the truck parked in front of us for a red flag clean up.

Jeremy and Travis are way into "COOL" cars lately.
We took some time to get pics by a few of them!

Of course they have to get a picture with their favorite drivers car!!

In our seats. If you look close you can see the cute little ear plugs.
They are definitely needed here.

After the race we wanted to go have some fun with the kids!
We headed to the M&M factory and the Coke factory.
We were nice parents and let them fill their own bags with any color they wanted. Even at $13 per pound.

We had a great time!
Kinley is a huge Las Vegas fan now. I think I might need to worry about that one.

Fall crafts

These are made out of tights and left over felt strips.
So cute!

My FAVORITE so far this year!
I love this wreath.
Made out of foam pipe, ribbon and dollar store picks.
Seriously cost me about $3.
The cure pumpkins were made last year.

I know this one is random but I made it this fall too!
I have gotten into making my own jewelry so I needed somewhere to put it.
So I whipped these up!

Pants to Skirts

Those skirts were made out of these pants.

Kinley got too tall for her pants so I converted them to skirts.
She lives in skirts.
The striped one is my favorite.

Plan B

FEEDING THE DUCKS!!
Kinley feeding her favorite duck. Now named cow duck.
Kinley's school was supposed to have a bike rodeo the other day.
Well it ended up cancelled due to bad weather but I didn't get the email before we left.
The kids were SO upset. We needed a plan B.
McKinley used her witty kindergarten brain and came up with feeding the ducks!

I had never been before and I was a little nervous.
I have heard stories about these ducks and geese attacking you to get food.
But I faced my fears and away we went.
Kinley wasn't scared. The geese were as tall as her but she is super brave.
See how close the geese are? They got even closer.
At this point Ty was in the car....exactly where I wanted to be.
But Kinley would not go so I took the moment to snap a few pics.

Look there is Ty! He is a scaredy cat but he had fun for a little while!!
We really did have fun!
Part two of plan B was ice cream! Also thought up by miss smarty pants, McKinley.

Check out his teeth. This was in between dental visits.
One crown had fallen out with his little tooth exposed. Ice cream was not a good idea for him.
The other tooth has a vertical crack in it.
These crowns were a mess.

All in all plan B turned out to be a fun night!
