Dentist Day

Who is this beautiful girl???
This is my sweet McKinley girl....
right after getting her first cavities filled.
Notice the crooked smile!
Isn't it so cute?
I kept asking her to smile or talk for me cause she looked so cute.
She was such a trooper she got to get a treat for being so good!
She chose this make-up kit just like the one she gave her friend for a birthday present.

I was so proud of Kinley. At first I really considered giving her an oral sedative.
We decided against it and just went with the "happy gas".
She was amazing!!
I truly cannot believe how well she did.
She got two cavities filled, one in back and one in front.
Great job sweet girl!!!!

Peaches Galore

I am the same as most of my friends right now
and I'm up to my ears in peaches!
We went to the church orchard the other day
and got 4 big boxes full of peaches.
I learned to do lots of different things with them.
BIG THANK YOU to my Mother-in-law!
The above pictures is the beginning of our process.
Canning!!
This is just a small portion of my kitchen.
Picture the ENTIRE kitchen covered in peaches.
This is my wonderful Mother-in-law and one of my
best friends skinning the peaches.
When we finished we had 44 bottles of peaches!!
Yahoooo!!
We also had 33 jars of jam!
Another Yahooo!
This is all that we could salvage out of two medium sized boxes.
They got too ripe. Sad. :(
Thanks to another friend of mine I learned how to make peach crumble!
Delicious!!!
And I froze the remainder!

This was such a wonderful experience for me. My family went to the orchard with two other families. Then I enlisted my Mother-in-law to come help all three of us Mom's learn how to can!
We learned the entire canning process and jamming process also.
It was so fun from beginning to end!!
Now I have yet another Suzy homemaker skill!!

Jumpin' Jacks

Last month we got invited to a Birthday Party at Jumpin' Jacks!
It was our first experience there and we had a GREAT time!
Peek-a-boo Ty.
Most of the pics I take of Kinley lately are of her posing.
She is so cute!
Kinley tackling the guy.
You go girl!
Ty loves to jump so he LOVED jumpin' jacks.

Creative Minds!

We had a great time at Creative Minds last week.
This is my little red headed shopper.
Isn't he cute!
Ty being a pirate with his friend in the background!
Ty had lots of favorite areas and this was one of them.
He put a ping-pong ball in these pipes then the air from the blow dryer
popped them out the other end!
He thought that was super cool!
Check out my handsome cowboy.
Ty LOVED this horse.
Staheli Farm was his favorite area of all!
He kept going back to play with all the horses.
This is Queen Kinley atop her throne at Creative Minds!
She loved the Princess chair.
She also enjoyed the play house.
This is cool for a little kid. Everything was just her size.
Funny part...she LOVED the construction zone!
She liked this more than Ty did.
The ultimate hit was the grocery store.
All three of the kids that we took loved shopping!
She is definitely my poser!
She really enjoyed being the cashier.

We will definitely visit Creative Minds again!

Sewing

Sewing is something I have always wanted to learn.
So I am working on it!
I'm not great but I have done a little.
Above is the little table cloth I made to cover my TV tray
and make my VIDEO PHONE look better!

Yes, It is a video phone! You all need one! Call me!

I know this is a bad picture but I also fixed my curtains.
These used to be penned together.
I spent days gathering the front panels,
gathering is not very fun to me,
Then I sewed the panels together so no more pens for kids to get hurt on.
Yay! A new skill attempted for me!
